Bill Leeper

Bill Leeper died of a heart attack in Kent, Washington in February 2003.

I remember tall Bill as a truly nice guy who I had in several classes throughout the years. ~ Maira Lezdins Rusis

My first memories of Bill are of the tall and lanky first baseman for an opposing room's softball team in elementary school. He could easily reach any errant throws that his infielders slung at him. He was big and tall enough to be the toughest and meanest kid in school, but he was a kind and gentle giant, and that never changed as the years passed... a really nice young man. ~ Mike Cooley

Bill was a good friend. I can still recall his excellent trombone solo in a school talent show. He played Vincent Youmans' "Without a Song". First Class! ~ Kent Nelson

I remember Bill as being just a very nice, thoughtful young man. We were sort of allied, both playing fairly unpopular instruments in the HS band - him the trombone, me the baritone. But that's not important, he was just a good guy. ~Gregg Morris
